Job is a job: whether Govt. or Private

I hereby would like to personally inform that Government jobs in India are no longer the age old dull with boring work environments, without any hint of excitement. Over the years, the work culture in the Government offices has changed tremendously. Candidates are getting selected from different backgrounds. So, everyone has got a fair chance of clearing a Government job. You just need patience, perseverance, hard work and a little bit of luck.

In the end, it totally depends on the individual choice as there is no good or bad with any job. It depends on what kind of life you want for yourself, you can excel in any job. If you want a stable and relaxed life you better opt for a Government job. If you are ambitious and want a challenging environment you could go for private jobs.

Don't just go for a govt job because it has job security. First see where your interest is. I am also working in a govt organisation since one year thought that it has job satisfaction and job security. As time passed I got to realise that it has nothing in it.. You had to do the same work everyday and the work here doesn't requires any brain it's just donkey work. Nothing new, you will be surrounded with people of your parents age. Who are lazy, just doing time pass. There would be very few of your age. You will get bored. You won't get to do any work related to your field of graduation specially in public sectors, then why did you studied so much what's the use of your studies and talent. Your talent would get wasted in doing all nonsense work. The infrastructure of the offices are bad. No professionalism. I would say a private job would be better where you will do some quality work and where you can show your talent. If you work good nobody would remove your from your job in private too. In private sector there would be growth in your personality.

Grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. Job is a job. Take it as one. Don’t be over optimistic about any job. Every job has its own set of Pros and Cons. You are doing a certain work and you are being paid for it. That’s it.
I would suggest you to sit, think and write down about your strengths , weaknesses, likes and dislikes. Also think what kind of work you want to do and you can do for long term. Ask what do you want in life. Is it stability , money, travel, teaching, research etc. So , ask these questions and look for a job.

I found that both Private and Government jobs are two sides of same coin as in both “You are working for somebody else”.
ob security job security job security… I don't text people is getting obsessed with this thing! Until and unless you are in a top most position like an a grade job in government… private jobs are always better than the government jobs..its not how you WILL but How much you CAN earn…

Every middle class student is getting grinded in the cut throat competition to get a 30k per month job.. Whereas for private jobs the initial pay may be less but after 2,3 or 5 years of experience you will earn more than twice or thrice then the govt job.. And why is obsession about job security?.it makes one lazy..get 40-50k monthly… get a belly size of 42..

Slowly you will feel below average..no improvements no salary hike.. Kya job security and kaheka job security? When you get the govt job you earn 50-60k max. After 15-20 years your salary will be 90k to 1lakh..max 105 lakh.. Whereas working in a company like TCS, Infosys, Wipro no matter how less you get..if you do good work after 2-3 years your salary will be easily equal to those a grade sarkari jobs and after 5 to 10 years you will earn more money than what the sarkari laalbati Wali Nakuri wala will earn (OFFICIALLY)So it's up-to you khali job security Karke rote Rehna.. 50 K ki Nakuri 25saal main Karke 60 saal main 90k main retire Karna.. With 46 size belly..white hair and so bank balance..bachon lo govt school main dalke khali compromise karte rehna.. Whereas no matter how Tough will be your initial years on a good private company after getting your skills updated you will get 5 to 10 times more salary than those sarkari Nakuri ke naam pe dhong pine wale..

In case of. Private company bonus, appraisal, promotion,a lavish lifestyle is waiting for you.. So what you want 5lakh per annum pe retire b karlo.. Job. Security leke ya.. 10saal ke baad 15-20lakh annum ka job 15 saal Karke chod b do Na Nike b jaoge you will earn more..

And about respect.. It's up-to you whose respect you want in your life.. a peon or clerk relatives an below average Indian whose life sucks or you want to get praised by smart intellectual creative people?

I guess, the real question is what’s better for you — Government job or Private sector job? That depends a lot on you — your academics, skills, abilities, risk appetite, preferences, aspirations and so on.
Even within Government jobs, not all are same, most IAS officers work harder than many private sector employees. Similarly, there are private sector jobs which are fairly secured (e.g, teachers in private schools). So generalization may not help. Look for your specific requirements based on your skills and interest.
Look for a job that fits YOU the best and do not worry too much about whether it’s private or government.
