It has come to the notice of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT),  Ministry of Communications that several misleading messages are being circulated on various social media platforms claiming that the second wave of coronavirus has been caused by the testing of the 5G mobile towers.

Vaccination slot booking available from today 1pm

Vaccination slots for 18-44 age group category are available for online booking from today (i.e 5/5/2021) 1 pm onwards in 26 COVID Vaccination Centres.

ICMR advisory on Covid - 19 testing

ICMR issues advisory for Covid-19 testing during the second wave of the pandemic. 
Highlights :
  • RTPCR test must not be repeated in any individual who is tested positive once either by RTPCR or RAT. 
  • For quick identification of suspected Covid infection, RAT should be encouraged.

ଏତଦ୍ ବ୍ୟତୀତ, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଡୋଜ୍ ନେବାକୁ ଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରାଧିକାର ଦେବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ରହିଛି। 

ବେସରକାରୀ ସ୍ତରରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଡୋଜ ଟୀକା ନେଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ମାନେ ସରକାରୀ ଟୀକାକରଣ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ରେ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଡୋଜ ଟୀକା ନେଇପାରିବେ।

Slot booking opened for vaccination of 18-44 age group of Bhubaneswar

Citizens of Bhubaneswar of 18-44 Age group can now register for slots in below-mentioned Govt. Hospitals.

Visit either of the websites for registration & appointment for vaccination.
Timing for vaccination for 18-44 age group is 8.00 AM to 1.00 PM, for 45+ age group- 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM

Note:- Beneficiary can only take the vaccination at the centre he/she has chosen during registration. Please don't visit other vaccination centres apart from the one choosen.

Deployment of ASOs to BMC for Covid Duty

A separate team of 25 Assistant Section Officers of Odisha Secretariat are deputed to BMC to assist Covid Team against the ASOs joined earlier vide Order No. 16048 Dt. 16.04.2021. Before this, the same list was also modified two times with Seven substitute ASOs vide Order No.16229 Dt.22.04.2021 and 16649 Dt. 23.04.2021.
