Fire breaks out in Lokseva Bhavan : No one hurt

A minor fire broke out in one room of the  Revenue & DM Department located on the first floor of the Lok Seva Bhawan (Odisha Secretariat) here, today at nearly about 10:00am.

However, there was no injury or major damage as the fire brigade team reached the spot immediately and doused the fire. 

Due to the fire, dense smoke prevailed in the building for some time. One computer, an AC and two chairs of the department have been damaged in the fire incident. Apart from the room where the fire broke out, no other office was affected in the fire incident.

The validity of the identity card issued earlier in favour of employees of the Secretariat which is going to expire on 30.06.2023 is here by extended for a period of six months i.e. 31.12.2023.

ରାଜ୍ୟ ସଚିବାଳୟରେ ଗତକାଲି ଇଂରାଜୀ ନୂତନ ବର୍ଷ ପାଳନ ଅବସରରେ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଓ ପରିବାର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ବିଭାଗ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ସଂସଦ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏକ ଭୋଜିରେ, ବିଭାଗୀୟ ସଚିବ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଶାଳିନୀ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ବିଭାଗର କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପରସିଥିଲେ ଓ ଶେଷରେ ନିଜେ ଖାଇଥିଲେ । ଏହାଦ୍ବାରା କର୍ମଚାରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେଖାଦେଇଥିଲା। ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ଙ୍କ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଅଧିକ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ ହୋଇ ନିଜର ତୁଳୀରେ ଏହି ଦ୍ରୁଶ୍ୟକୁ ଆଙ୍କିଥିଲେ ଅମରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ବେହେରା (ଉପବିଭାଗ ଅଧିକାରୀ, ସ୍ୱରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ବିଭାଗ)। ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଏହି ଫଟୋଟିକୁ ସଚିବଙ୍କୁ ଅମରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନିଜେ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। 

Validity of Secretariat Identity Card extended till 30.06.2023

Home Department has extended the validity of Identity Card issued to Officers / Employees of Secretariat till 31.12.2021. This is for information that the Cards issued earlier with validity till 31.12.2020 has been extended in different phases till 31.12.2022. Now it is decided to extend the validity for another period of six months.

It was decided to prepare new Identity (RFID) Card for Secretariat Employees from January 2022. This card will have more security features as compared to existing Cards. The RFID ( Redio Frequency Identification) Technology will be used in this card so that any type of duplication of this card can be minimised. This proposal is under consideration of Government since last two years.
