Sub: Regarding application process and eligibility for issuance of Identity Cards through the Identity Personnel Management System (IPMS).
With reference to the subject cited above, the undersigned is directed to state that the Identity & Personnel Management System (IPMS) is now live for submission of applications for Identity Cards for employees of Government Department Offices. A link for applying for the Identity Card will be shared with the e-mail ID of the official nominated by the concerned Department as the Recommending Authority.
Regular employees drawing salary from their respective Departments in Lok Seva Bhawan, Kharavel Bhawan, Rajiv Bhawan, Krushi Bhawan, Loksamparka Bhawan, Paryatan Bhawan, Sanskriti Bhawan and Deptt. of Sports & Youth Services (functioning in Kalinga Stadium) shall be eligible to apply for Identity Cards.
The Recommending Authority of the concerned Department shall ensure that applications are forwarded only in respect of employees fulfilling the above eligibility criteria. Officers on Special Duty re-engaged after retirement, Consultants, Outsourced, Contractual employees, etc. are not eligible for issuance of Identity Cards. Such personnel may avail Admission Passes through the e-Pravesh portal, as applicable.
All applicants are required to upload a clear passport-size photograph with a white background and a legible specimen of their signature in JPG/PNG format, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. The system also provides an option for uploading a digital signature. Applications not conforming to the prescribed requirements are liable to be rejected.
The applicant shall upload a proof of employment for verification, in PDF / JPG / PNG format, such as the appointment order / joining acceptance letter in the concerned Department or first page of the Service Book.
Further, the applicant shall be solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information furnished in the application. Applicants are, therefore, advised to carefully verify all details before final submission. Requests for subsequent alteration or correction of the information furnished in the application shall not be entertained.
The applicants are also requested to return their previous Identity Card / Admission Card, as applicable, upon receipt of the new Identity Card.
In the event of retirement, transfer, or termination of service in the concerned Department, the applicant shall promptly surrender the Identity Card to the concerned Department. The concerned Department shall intimate accordingly and return the surrendered Identity Card to Home Department for taking necessary action at this end.
