An ardent devotee of Lord Sri Krishna and beloved mother of Krishan Kumar closed her eyes after a brief illness.
Dr.Kumar is Secretary Works and Cooperation of the Government of Odisha.
86 years old pious and religious lady left behind three sons and four daughters
2002 Batch IAS Dr.Kumar is the youngest son, who was looking after her for years together. Four days ago she went to Apollo ICU for lung infection and her kidney was not functioning well. While on 14 June she was undergoing dialysis some complications developed. And she had to be put on ventilator. She passed away due to cardiac arrest at 1.40 AM on 15 June.
Her husband Late Shri Lakshman Das Garg, passed away more than a decade ago and since those days Shrimati Garg used to stay with Dr.Kumar.
According to family sources, her last rites will be conducted at Swargdwar in Puri in the evening.
