FAQ : Procedures after OPSC recommendation for ASO Recruitment

Once OPSC declared recommendation notice for 500 posts, Home Department start processing for joining of candidates in Secretariat.
If we follow previous year Recruitment procedure, we can expect the followings.
1. Home Department may ask for Medical Fitness Certificate via E-MAIL.
2. Home Department may arrange a workshop at any community hall like Rabindra Mandap /Jayadev Bhawan and make arrangement to distribute appointment letter. Honble CM may present appointment letter to some of the top candidates.
3. While joing in concerned department (as mentioned in appointment letter), you have to bring two characters certificate from any gazetted officers.
4. You can enter secretariat premises on showing the appointment letter to the security officials at entrance gate.
5. After some days, identity card will be issued on requisition by your  concern department.
6. Your attestation form will be sent for police verification in next days.

Besides, OPSC may publish cut-off marks and individual marks of the candidates at anytime. So you can visit OPSC website in regular intervals.
