OSSA demands creation of 151 Group-A posts
29.07.2022 : Nearly 1000 OSS officers participated in the agitation at PR Lawn showing their displeasure towards creation of very less no. of posts compared to the proposal submitted by OSSA. As per the leaders, there was a proposal for creation of 225 posts in the rank of Under Secretary and above. But it was come to the knowledge of Association that only 80-90 posts are decided to be created. Hence many senior leaders along with last three batch ASO/SOs strongly opposed the decision of Government.

Not happy with restructuring : OSSA calls for agitation
Odisha Secretariat Service Association (OSSA) had given proposal for creation of a reasoned number of posts in Class-I by way of restructuring in view of the mounting workload and less promotional avenues in the cadre.
Hon'ble CM had assured to fulfil this demand. However, it has come to the knowledge of the Association that their demand has been tampered with and the number is very less than the level of expectations.
OSSA is strongly opposing such move of Government by not taking the Association into confidence while deciding the figures.
In this backdrop, Association is proposing for launching agitation on this issue tomorrow at PR Lawn.
3rd Work anniversary of 2019 Batch ASOs
27.07.2022 : 500 ASOs were joined Odisha Secretariat Service ( OSS) Cadre this day 3 years back. On this occasion, a special celebration was organised at OSSA House.
