(i) State Government
has allowed purchase of vehicles for official use of Hon'ble Ministers, High Dignitaries,
Senior State Government officials, etc. as per FD OM 10335/F dated 31.03.2023 (read
with FD OM No. 21498/F dated 30.07.2024)

(ii) No vehicles shall be purchased by any office other than those mentioned above and hiring of vehicles shall be allowed in such cases by adhering to the provision of FDOM 30464 Dt.06.09.2019, 33326 Dt.27.09.2019, 27037 Dt.08.10.2015, 34085 Dt.29.09.2012
(iii) Vehicles of any other Make and Model can be purchased within the price ceiling and conforming to the mileage prescribed in the FDOM 10335/F dated 31.03.2023.
(iv) Procurement of vehicles shall be made by adhering the following conditions.
(a) Prior Concurrence of Finance Department
(b) One Officer One Vehicle principle shall be followed
(c) New vehicle shall be procured only on completion of life span and condemnation of
the vehicle in use.
(v) Ceiling on consumption of fuel for the official use of Government vehicle / Hired Vehicle has been mentioned in Para-3 (vi) of FDOM 30464 Dt.06.09.2019.
(a) Vehicles used by Officers of the grade of Heads of Department and above up to maximum of 2500 kms in a month.
(b) Vehicles used by other Officers and for pool duty up to maximum of 2000 kms in a month.
(c) ln case of variation exceeding 20%, Administrative Department shall accord approval recording the reason of variation.
