- Assistant Section Officer - Section Officer :
8 years to 4 years
- Section Officer - Desk Officer :
3 years to 1 year 6 months
- (SO + DO) - Under Secretary :
6 years to 3 years
- Under Secretary - Deputy Secretary :
1 year to 6 months
- Deputy Secretary - Joint Secretary :
1 year to 6 months
