Relaxation in residency period for promotion in OSS Cadre

Government have been pleased to allow relaxation in residency period for promotion in different ranks of Odisha Secretariat Service Cadre. 

• Assistant Section Officer - Section Officer : 

8 years to 4 years

• Section Officer - Desk Officer :

3 years to 1 year 6 months

• (SO + DO) - Under Secretary :

6 years to 3 years

• Under Secretary - Deputy Secretary :

1 year to 6 months

• Deputy Secretary - Joint Secretary :

1 year to 6 months
