Secretariat Typist Cadre is now a dying cadre. The base level posts will not be filled up through further recruitment. The posts being vacant due to promotion or retirement will be abolished.
Hence, Junior Data Entry Operator posts are created in Home Department and the first batch has been recruited through OSSC on contractual basis.
This post is being guided under the provisions of Odisha Secretariat Data Entry Operator (Method of recruitment and conditions of service) Rules, 2016.
Salary:
As the post bears Level-4 (PB-I : 5200+1900), based on the revised remuneration (as per 7th Pay Commission), the salary for first six years is as follows.
Promotion:
There are three promotional posts in this cadre with following pay bands.
1. Junior Data Entry Operator (L-4)
2. Senior Data Entry Operator (L-7)
3. Assistant Data Processing Officer (L-9)
4. Data Processing Officer (L-10)
Sanction Strength:
After restructuring of this cadre, the sanction strength of different posts is as follows.
1. Junior Data Entry Operator - 257
2. Senior Data Entry Operator - 39
3. Asst. Data Processing Officer - 24
4. Data Processing Officer - 08
