Smt. Rutushree Pradhan, 32 yrs, Assistant Section Officer, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Odisha State Secretariat has been suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a kind of Blood Cancer.
TREATMENT : She was first admitted into Hematology Department of SCB Medical College and Hospitals, Cuttack, where her 1st set of Chemotherapy was done. Later she was shifted to SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar. But due to fact that the Doctor treating her in SUM Hospitals diagnosed with Covid +Ve, and her condition deteriorated further, she was shifted to Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata. Presently she is being administered with 2nd set of Chemotherapy there. Later, her Bone Marrow Transfusion (BMT) will be done.
APPEAL : She needs blood and platelets regularly, which is very much essential for her survival. But due to scarcity of Blood and present situation of Corona pandemic, it has become very difficult for her family members to arrange blood for her. Her blood group is "O+ve".
