GA Department has issued Circulars / Notification in different times regarding retention of Government Quarter after the death / retirement of Government employees.

"son / daughter / spouse" replaced by "son / daughter / spouse / daughter / in-law"

- No.13887 Dt.11.06.2020:  (Amendment)

"wife" replaced by "spouse"

Retention for eight (8) months from death/retirement

- No.7229 Dt.15.05.2000 :  (Facilities Extended)

Retention for three (03) months from death/retirement
