Compulsory submission of property statement by Government Employees and public representatives

The State Government is committed to ensure a transparent and corruption free administration. As a step further in the above pursuit, Govt. has decided to make submission of annual property statement by Government Servants of all group & ranks and public representatives mandatory and to place the same in the public domain for access of everybody. 

At present the submission of annual property statement by the Govt Servants is being regulated as per provisions of rule-21 of the Odisha Government Servants Conduct Rules, 1959. These rules are required to be amended to implement the above decision of the Government. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• Applicable to all Government Employees (Group-A, B, C & D) and public representatives. 
• Statements will have access to general public and Lokayukt. 
• Annual statement as on 1st January to be submitted by 31st January. 
• PAR submission is not possible if property statement is not submitted. 
• Submission of property statement is a pre-requisite for promotion.

Sri Singh who was with comorbidities passed away during treatment in Kar Clinic today. His dead body was brought to Secretariat near Gate-5 for last seen by Officers of oss cadre. 

WE CONVEY OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO HIS BEREAVED FAMILY. 

May his soul rest in peace.

02.02.2021 : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the datesheet of classes 10 and 12 examinations today. The exams are scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 10.

An owl in Secretariat...

An owl was found sitting on the window of Works Department in Lokseva Bhawan on Monday. The whole day, it was found sitting there. 

It was really amazing to see that bird with heart shaped face and pale yellow body colour.

Odisha Assembly to commence from Feb 18; Budget on Feb 22

The sixth Session (budget session) of 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin from February 18 and the session will continue till April 9, 2021.

This session will have a total 31 business days. 

The State Budget for the fiscal 2021-22 will be presented in the House on February 22.
