After amendment in Recruitment Rules, the OES cadre in Water Resources Department has been restructured as follows.
HIGHLIGHTS :
Deputy Executive Engineer has been merged with Assistant Executive Engineer. They will be in charge if Sub-Divisions.
Superintending Engineer Level-I and Level-II posts are merged to form Superintending Engineer. They will be in charge of Divisions along with Executive Engineers.
New post namely Additional Chief Engineer has been created. They will be in charge of Circles.
Total post remains constant at 1608.
Recruitment into AEE post shall be based on score in GATE Examination.
