Odisha payment of recruitment examination fees and refund Rules, 2025.

Government has decided to introduce recruitment fee to be collected from candidates for appearing any competitive examinations. The fee will refunded to the candidates who actually appear for the recruitment examination.

3. Payment of Examination Fee:- 

(1) Candidates except Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disability (PwDs) category, applying for recruitment to any posts and services in the State Government shall be required to pay a prescribed examination fee as notified by the recruiting agency from time to time.
(2) The examination fee shall be paid through such modes and within such time limits as may be specified by the recruiting agency.
4. Refund of Examination Fee:- 

(1) The examination fee paid under rule 3 shall be refunded to candidates who actually appear for the recruitment examination.
(2) The refund shall be processed within a reasonable period after the conduct of the examination and completion of verification of attendance records.
(3) The refund shall be credited to the bank account or payment method used at the time of registration, or as otherwise specified by the authority.
(4) No refund shall be admissible to candidates who fail to appear in the examination for any reason whatsoever.
(5) The authority conducting the examination shall take necessary steps to ensure transparency and efficiency in the refund process.
