UPSC Civil Services Result 2023 : Recommendation of 1016 candidates


CONGRATULATIONS
The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Final Result for the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) 2023 on April 16, 2024. Based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2023 held by the Union Public Service Commission in September, 2023 and the interviews for Personality Test held in January-April 2024, list of 1016 candidates has been released in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment. 

FINAL RESULT : UPSC CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION 2023

A total of 1,016 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The status of 355 recommended candidates remains provisional. According to the list, Aditya Srivastava, Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy are the top three perfomers in the UPSC Civil Services exam 2023.

Major reshuffle in IAS Cadre

The Odisha Government has effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre vide Notification issued by General Administration & Public Grievance Department in this regard today. In this reshuffle, total 38 IAS Officers and 03 Senior OAS Officers have been transferred and posted otherwise. 

Out of them 03 RDCs, 03 Commissioners of Municipal Corporations, 17 District Collectors have been Transferred. Similarly, 10 Nos. of 2018 & 2019 batch IAS officers become District Collectors for the first time.

DoPT has allocated cadres to 179 candidates allocated Indian Administrative Services (IAS) based on CSE-2022. 

As per the list, eight (8) have been allocated Odisha cadre. Three (3) of them belong to Odisha and the rest to outside states.

UPSC Civil Service Examination 2022 result published

One of the most difficult competitive tests in India is considered to be the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) exam. Every year, thousands of hopefuls put in extensive preparation work in an effort to land a desired post in the illustrious public services of the nation.
The Civil Service Examination 2022 results were released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on May 23, 2023.
There are currently 933 qualifying candidates for the 2022 civil services examination, including 613 men and 320 women. There are 14 women among the top 25 applicants. The UPSC administers the civil services examination every year in three stages—preliminary, main, and interview—to choose candidates for the IAS, IPS, and IFS.
