New Cadre Allocation Policy for the All India Services -IAS / IPS / IFS

HIGHLIGHTS : 

👉All State & Joint Cadres are now arranged alphabetically.

👉No zones. Zones Removed, Groups introduced 

👉A simplified version of Cadre Preference System

👉Rotation of groups Y/Y basis..

👉No state-wise preference list.

👉Candidates can only opt for their Home State (yes/no).

👉Beyond that, cadre allotment is purely based on AIR, vacancies, and roster.

Earlier, candidates could:

👉Opt for Home State

👉Rank Zones (1–5)

👉Rank states within each zone

👉Cadre allotment depended on zone preference + state preference + roster
