Sri Santanu Mahalik, Section Officer passed away : RIP

Sri Santanu Mahalik, Section Officer, (Home Elections) Department passed away today at the age of 50 years. He was a 1996-97 batch OSS Officer and to retire on 30.06.2033.

May God give strength to the family and peace to the departed soul. Om Shanti.

Sad demise of Shri Babaji Sethi, Desk Officer

Sri Babaji Charan Sethi, Desk Officer, Home Deptt breathed his last today at Capital Hospital at the age of 60 years. He was a OSS Officer of 1983-84 Batch and he was about to retire from Government service on 31.03.2023.

Dr. Sanatan Rath passed away...


Eminent neurosurgeon Dr. Sanatan Rath passed away today at the age of 86 in his Cuttack residence. He was suffering from cancer and other old-age related complications for quite some time, his family sources said. Prof. Rath was born on July 25, 1934. After completing his Master of Surgery in Neurosurgery from Christian Medical College, Vellore in 1965, he joined as an Assistant professor of Neurosurgery in SCB Medical College and Hospital and was later appointed head of the department.
