e-Quarter Allotment might get cancelled for May-2019

e-Quarter Allotment for the month of May-2019 seen to be not in order of priority. It seems to be due to non-operational mode of software during severe cyclone "FANI".
Today some ASOs complained in the concerned section of GA&PG Department. Sri Bibekananda Samal, Section Officer assured about further publication of a fresh allotment order. By the way this section showed its helpless condition as the final list is being prepared by Nation Informatics Center (NIC).
Many times there is allegation about background activity beyond this online application system for which many deserving employees are not being able to get their suitable quarter. Also it is said that some quarters are not being available upto last hour of choice filling but it's found to be alloted in final list. Hence they demand a upgraded software for fare allotment of GA Quarters to deserving employees or the whole process should be dealt in Govt.
Its here to mention here that the date of choice filling was extended to 13th May in the following notice.
NOTE- Date 13.02.2019 was wrongly written in place of 13.05.2019.

FANI effect in Secretariat

A case in point was State Secretariat on Saturday that stood testimony to the quantum of damage the Nature's Fury could play on other vulnerable parts, let alone this nerve center of Odisha's Power Corridor. Not only trees were ripped apart and were lying strewn, the ‘Ba’ letter in Odia of ‘Rajya Sachivalaya’ was found blown away by FANI.
Thus, it bore a funny look as if the evil eye of the extremely severe cyclonic storm has left behind its sneering wink as well as solid stamp of its retreat before the reeking ruins.

Even the walls were found wallowed and its barricades broken while the mammoth billboard was found mangled sending a virtual message that no head is held high and even the mind can’t be sans any fear vis-à-vis the Nature’s Fury.
