Odisha Cabinet approved 15 proposals

21.06.2023 : The Odisha Cabinet today met and approved following 15 proposals. 


1. Rural Development Department :
Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana (MMSY) : Cabinet approved ₹976 Crore for Connecting Unconnected Villages in Difficult Areas (CUVDA) with target of 361.34 kn roads in 2 years. 

2. Rural Development Department :
Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana (MMSY) : Cabinet approved ₹1893 Crore for improvement of roads Transferred from PR & other Departments under Transferred Road Improvement Program (TRIP) with target of length 1814.92 km in 2 years. 

3. Rural Development Department :
Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana (MMSY) : Cabinet approved ₹918 Crore for improvement of existing RD roads with target of 554.67 km in 2 years. 

4. Rural Development Department :
Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana (MMSY) : Cabinet approved ₹1160 Crore for Connecting Missing Road Links (CMRL) with target of 673.49 km in 2 years. 

5. Women & Child Development Department:
Mukhyamantri Sampurna Prusti Yojana (MSPY) : Cabinet approved the scheme at an aim of transforming nutrition outcomes of the adolescent girls (15-19 years), pregnant women & lactating mothers, SAM, MAM and severely underweight children of under 6 years of age across the state over a period of 5 years commencing from FY 2023-24 with a projected cost of Rs 3354.40 Crore.

6. Finance Department :
The Odisha GST Amendment Bill 2023 : Cabinet approved this bill to simplify the provisions and provide certain facilities to the tax payers and tax authorities.

7. GA&PG Department :
Execution of lease deed and other post allotment services in post possession cases mentioned in the Annexure-VA of the Task Force Report. 

8. GA&PG Department :
Amendment to the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1995.

9. Law Department :
Amendment of the Odisha District and Sub- ordinate Courts' Non-Judicial Staff Services (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008.

10. Revenue & DM Department :
Exemption of the incidental charges, annual ground rent and cess from Government land measuring Ac.43.050 dec. handed over to TATA Steel Limited for establishment of Multi Specialty Hospital at Sitalapalli, Ganjam. 

11. Revenue & DM Department :
Policy for fixation of rate of annual ground rent and cess in respect of Government land leased out in favour of charitable organisations.

12. ST&SC Dev. M&BC Welfare Department
Inclusion of Saora language in the 8th schedule of Constitution of India. 

13. Steel & Mines Department :
Long Term Linkage (LTL) policy of minerals for Odisha based industries through Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC) —2023 

14.Works Department :
State Cabinet have approved the revised cost of the ABADHA scheme for an amount of Rs.4224.22 Crore with implementation period from 2017-18 to 2024-25. 

15. Revenue & DM Department :
Sanction of lease of Government land measuring Ac 6.30 dec in favour of Maa Majhighariani Temple Management Trust, Rayagada.
