17.06.2023 : The Odisha Amala Sangha put its state-wide agitation (Mass Leave) on hold after 17 days following a discussion with the 5T Secretary through video conferencing at the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell.
“After the discussion, we were assured that our demands will be taken into consideration. For this, a high-level committee will be formed on Monday. They have assured us that they will take a decision after discussing about our grade pay demand and how our members in districts can get promotions. We have faith in our Chief Minister so we have decided to put our strike on hold from today,”

It is noted that District Level Ministerial Officers were on mass leave w.e.f. 01.06.2023 with demand of Grade Pay ₹4200 for base level post of District Cadre Amalas.
