Nijukti Parva : Appointment of 572 Principals & Teachers of OAVs

As many as 542 Principals and Teachers today joined Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas. Besides, 30 Principals and Teachers joined Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas making the total appointments 572 on a single day. A Nijukti Parva along with orientation was organized at convention centre in Lok Seva Bhawan for the purpose.

On this occasion Hon'ble CM Sri Naveen Patnaik advised the teachers and principals to make endeavor to unlock students’ potential. CM said that this large appointment is a huge boost for Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas. He expected the new principals and teachers to try their best for making these institutions one of the best in the country.

Attending the ‘Nijukti Parva’ & orientation programme for newly appointed Principals & Teachers of @OAVs & Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas, CM Naveen Patnaik advised them to unlock students’ potential. CM added this large appointment is a huge boost for Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas & expected the new Principals & Teachers to try their best for making these institutions one of the best in the country.   

As many as 542 Principals & Teachers joined Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas and 30 Principals & Teachers joined Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas. Highlighting that the quality of teaching is of paramount importance, CM said the success of an educator lies in understanding the inherent potential of students & making active efforts to unlock those. CM added there should be a conscious endeavour to help children dream big & create confidence in them to achieve what has been hitherto impossible.

CM said the 5T initiative can be an empowering tool for children. The knowledge of technology, learning the essence of teamwork, maintaining transparency & understanding the importance of time can bring a transformative change in children. CM expected the Principals to follow this initiative in their institutions. Congratulating the Principals & Teachers, CM said that the new Odisha can be built by empowering every child with the power of education. CM highlighted that Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas were set up to achieve this objective by providing free quality education in English medium to rural talents from Odisha.

CM underscored that the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas are like launch-pads for children where they can widen their horizons with wings to fly even higher. Expressing happiness over the success of Adarsha Vidyalaya students in national level engineering and medical entrance exams, CM said that it is a right place for students to realise their dreams.     

CM also inaugurated nine hostel buildings which have been established in Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Boudh & Sundargarh districts. Besides, an academic building was inaugurated at Angul. CM launched the Mukhyamantri Shikhya Puraskar web portal.
