Local Holiday on 3rd, 4th & 6th November for Bada Osha & Chhadakhai

Revenue Divisional Commissioner (South Division), Berhampur has declared 03.11.2025 ( last Monday of Karttik Month) as Local Holiday for following districts.
03.11.2025 : Ganjam, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri Districts and Baliguda Sub-Dvn

Revenue Divisional Commissioner (North Division), Sambalpur has declared 04.11.2025 (Bada Osha) and 06.11.2025 (Chhadakhai) as Local Holiday for following districts.
04.11.2025 : Angul & Dhenkanal Districts 
06.11.2025 : Deogarh District and Sundargarh Sadar Sub-dvn

Similarly , High Court has declared 3rd November as holiday and 29th November as working day.

Schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to Remain Closed on June 20

The Odisha government declared holiday of schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on June 20, ahead of a state-level event to mark 1 year of its tenure in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event and a traffic congestion is anticipated.

Declaration of HOLIDAY on the day of polling : ଆଗାମୀ ସାଧାରଣ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ୨୦୨୪ ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷୀରେ ଓଡିଶା ରେ ମୋଟ ୪ଟି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ହେବାକୁ ଥିବାବେଳେ ସରକାରୀ  କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ / କୋର୍ଟ / ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ  କର୍ମାଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ୧୩ ମଇ, ୨୦ ମଇ, ୨୫ ମଇ ଓ ୧ ଜୁନ କୁ ଛୁଟି ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଇଛି।

Half Day Closing of State Government Offices on 22.01.2024

ଅଯୋଧ୍ୟାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀରାମ ଲାଲାଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ପ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଉତ୍ସବ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ୨୨ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୨୦୨୪ ଦିନ ଅପରାହ୍ନ ୨.୩୦ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଅଧିନସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ସରକାରୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବ ।

The Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22nd January, 2024 across India. To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22nd January, 2024.

The state government has announced January 17 as a holiday to facilitate people’s participation in the inauguration of Jagannath temple heritage corridor project at Odisha’s Puri town.
