The 33rd State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 27th August, 2021 approved 14 proposals.

HIGHLIGHTS

• 7th Session of 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly to be started from 01.09.2021
• Odisha Social Security Services (Methods of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2021;
• Odisha Electric Vehicle Policy 2021;
• Proposal for Amendment of ‘The Odisha Aided Educational Institutions’ Employees Retirement Benefit Rule, 1981′;
• Rule for better and effective regulation of method of recruitment and conditions of service of Group ‘D’ employees engaged in District and Subordinate Courts;
• Assets of Government Primary, Upper Primary, High School, Higher Secondary Schools including Government aided ones under the School and Mass Education Department have been transferred to Panchayati Raj institutions through PR&DW Department for new construction and maintenance of these assets;
• Approval of draft Odisha Sand Policy 2021;
• Publication of Cadre Rules for Odisha Sub-ordinate Mineral Chemical Analysis Service Rules, 2021;
• Publication of Cadre Rules for Odisha Mineral Administration Service, 2021;
• Restructuring of Orissa Veterinary Service Cadre – 459 new posts created;
• Amendment to Rules of Business relating subject of Handicraft, Textiles and Handicrafts Department;
• Approval of the bid for Construction of 1000 mm thuck plastic concrete cut-off wall at heel of earth dam upto fresh rock level throughout the foundation of left embankment of Kanupur Irrigation Project in Keonjhar district.
