18 November, 2022 : State Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Sri Naveen Patnaik took 17 major decisions.
Major Decisions :
1. Odisha State policy for Children aimed at furthering children’s right to survival, protection, physical health, mental health, education, participation and other milestones required for their optimal development and overall wellbeing;
2. Crop diversification programme aimed at revival of soil health, increase in micro fauna and production of high value cash crops.
3. The maintenance and improvement of the assets in Govt and Govt aided higher secondary schools, community helath centers (CHCs), Sub-divisonal helath centers ( SDHs), and District Head quarter Hospitals, Odisha Adarhsa Vidyalayas ( OAVs) through the departments of Works and Rural Development. 4. Odisha State Port Policy-2022 envisaging holistic development of maritime eco-system in Odisha, promotion of private sector development in maritime sector with the idea of #Kalingadvantage , and creation of employment opportunities for youths of Odisha.
5. One Time Settlement of arrear electricity (Principal and interest) in respect of Captive Consumers
6. Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B and Group-C Specialist posts or Service Rules, 2022
7. Exclusion of single allotment made by BDA, CDA and OSHB under the discretionary quota from the preview of Task Force Report
8. Financial Assistance for JD Center of Arts, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar towards construction of extension building
9. Amendment of Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 and Odisha Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
10. Selection of Woman SHGs for decentralized production and distribution of Take Home Ration under Supplementary Nutrition Programme
11. Framing of the Odisha grant of weightage in marks in the Retirement for Short Term COVID-19 Healthcare workers Rules, 2022
12. Amendment of the Odisha Rules of Business of Revenue and Disaster Management Department in State Subject list at serial 30 by way of clarification of "Sairat"
13. Construction of Left Bank Canal from RD 100.490 km to RD 107.500 km including all structures under ICB-CW- Package-D(I)
14. Tender for 221 Crore towards Construction of concrete gravity dam and spillway in Hadua medium irrigation project
15. Regularisation of 8 Work Charged AEE (Civil) under Water Resources Department
