Cabinet Decisions on 21.07.2023

Today on 21.07.2023, 62nd “Cabinet Meeting’ was held in the 3rd Floor Conference Hall of Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar under the Chairmanship of Sri Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister, Odisa. Hon’ble Ministers of the State Cabinet attended the meeting. The following total no of 17  proposals from 11 Departments were presented in the Cabinet Meeting and all have been approved .

3. Provision of 5700 Crore for "Interest Subsidy-Subvention to the Cooperative Banks / PACS for five years to ensure adequate credit flow in agriculture at an affordable interest to farmers"

4. Provision of funds for corpus funds for Procurement of oilseeds & pulses by SLS (MARKFED-Odisha) under Price Support Scheme (PSS)

16. Proposal for extension of One Time Settlement Scheme of arrear water rates dues of Central/State PSUs, Central/State Government units, / organizations and Private Industrial, Commercial and other establishments.

Electronics & IT Department
17. Proposal for introduction of Odisha Semiconductor manufacturing and fabless policy to facilitate investors to enter into the manufacturing of semiconductor / electronics chips in the State of Odisha

After the meeting over, Hon’ble Minister, Smt. Tukuni Sahu, Hon’ble Minister Sri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak briefed the press about 2 Nos and 1 no of decisions taken in the cabinet related to Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana, Approval of implementation of new scheme i.e Construction of building for Vana Surakshya Samiti(VSS) and interest subsidy/ Subvention to the Co-operative Banks/ PAACS relates to crop loan respectively. 

There after Chief Secretary, Odisha Sri Pradeep Kumar Jena, IAS, briefed the Press about other 14 agenda items on which the decision taken in the Cabinet meeting.
