Biennial Elections to the Council of States (Rajya Sabha) : Polling on 16 March, 2026
The term of office of 37 members of the Council of States elected from 10 States is due to expire in April 2026. Out of them four Rajya Sabha Members i.e. Mamata Mohanta, Muzibulla Khan,Sujeet Kumar, Niranjan Bishi from Odisha will retire on 02.04.2026.

Odisha Team for All India Civil Services Cricket (Men) Tournament 2025-26 have started their journey to participate in the event at New Delhi which is scheduled to be held from 17th - 26th February, 2026. The team consists of 16 players, 01 Batting Coach, 01 Bowling Coach and 01 Manager.

Non-engagement of BLOs in Census duty
The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, #Odisha has directed district administrations not to engage Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in any Census-related duties in view of the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll in the state.

The 8th Central Pay Commission solicits views/opinions/inputs for being better informed. These inputs are being sought in a structured manner through a Questionnaire with 18 questions hosted on the MyGov.in web portal. Responses are invited from Ministries, Departments, State/UTs, employees of Government, employees of Union Territories, Judicial Officers, officers/employees of Courts, Members of Regulatory Bodies, Associations or Unions of serving or retired employees, pensioners, researchers, academicians and individuals.
Names of respondents shall not be revealed and responses to the Questionnaire will be analyzed/disclosed on an aggregate non-attributable basis.

Employees of Ministry/ Department, Union Territories, Judicial Officers, officers/employees of Courts, Members of Regulatory Bodies, Associations or Unions of serving or retired employees, pensioners, researchers, academicians and individuals may access the Questionnaire and submit responses on the link below:
