UPSC Civil Services Result 2023 : Recommendation of 1016 candidates

CONGRATULATIONS

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Final Result for the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) 2023 on April 16, 2024. Based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2023 held by the Union Public Service Commission in September, 2023 and the interviews for Personality Test held in January-April 2024, list of 1016 candidates has been released in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment.

A total of 1,016 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The status of 355 recommended candidates remains provisional. According to the list, Aditya Srivastava, Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy are the top three perfomers in the UPSC Civil Services exam 2023.

Amendment in Combined Recruitment Rules for Stenographer, Junior Clerk, Data Entry Operator and Junior Typist

As per Cabinet Decision Dated 15.09.2023, Government have been pleased to include four nos. of posts in schedule-I of Combined Recruitment Examination for Junior Stenographer, Junior Typist, Data Entry Operator, Junior Clerk cum Typist Rules, 2022. 

1) Junior Clerk cum Typist : Directorate of Drugs Controller and all other Departments or HODs

2) Typist cum Copyist : Labour & ESI Department

3) Junior Grade Typist : Board of Revenue

4) Junior Typist : Labour & ESI Department & other department

Earlier, nine(9) nos. of different posts have been included in the aforesaid rule. Now, after inclusion of four(4) posts, OSSC shall conduct Combined Recruitment Examination for Junior Stenographer, Junior Typist, Data Entry Operator, Junior Clerk of thirteen(13) different posts.
