29.02.2024 : The 75th State Cabinet today approved 08 proposals of 03 Departments as follows; 

1. Health & Family Welfare Department
Framing of Odisha Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) Service (Method of Recruitment & Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2024 : 

Existing sanction strength has been increased from 13966 to 15831 and restructured as follows. 

1. MPHW(F) Level-II  : Gr. C, District Cadre (8280) 
2. MPHW(F) Level-I   : Gr. B, District Cadre (4458) 
3. MPHS(F) Level-II   : Gr. B, State Cadre (2547) 
4. MPHS(F) Level-I    : Gr. B, State Cadre (545) 
5. Assistant Director : Gr. A, State Cadre (1)

# Redesigned posts :

- Laboratory Technician --> Medical Laboratory Technician

- Senior Laboratory Technician --> Technician Officer (MLT) Level-II

- Technical Supervisor --> Technical Officer (MLT) Level-I
