ଆଜି ରାଜ୍ୟ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟର ୩୪ ତମ ବୈଠକ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଲୋକସେବା ଭବନସ୍ଥିତ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ କକ୍ଷରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା l ବୈଠକ ପରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଅନୁ ଗର୍ଗ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ ବୈଠକରେ ନିଆଯାଇଥିବା ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମକୁ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।
କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ ବୈଠକରେ ମୋଟ ୮ ଟି ବିଭାଗର ୧୧ଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଆଗତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଅନୁମୋଦନ ଲାଭ କରିଛି l ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶିଳ୍ପ ବିଭାଗ, ଗୃହ ( ସ୍ୱରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର)ବିଭାଗ, ଦକ୍ଷତା ବିକାଶ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ଶିକ୍ଷା, ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନ ବିଭାଗ, ପଂଚାୟତିରାଜ ଓ ପାନୀୟ ଜଳ ବିଭାଗ ଏବଂ ରାଜସ୍ବ ଆଦି ବିଭାଗ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଲେଖାଏଁ, ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଯୋଗାଣ ଏବଂ ଖାଉଟି କଲ୍ୟାଣ ବିଭାଗର ୩ଟି ଏବଂ ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗର ୨ ଟି, ଏହିପରି ମୋଟ ୧୧ ଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ ବୈଠକରେ ଆଗତ କରାଯାଇ ଆଲୋଚନା ପୂର୍ବକ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଅନୁମୋଦନ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ଜଣାଯାଇଛି ଲ

Public allowed for Lok Bhawan (Governor's House) Garden visit from 10th January
- For GENERAL PUBLIC from 10th January-2026 to 20th January-2026 (from 2.30 pmto 6.15 pm)
- Entry for GENERAL PUBLIC is permitted only through Lok Bhavan Garden Visit mobile App (which can be downloaded from Google Play Store).
- There is no entry fee for visiting the Lok Bhavan Garden.
- For SCHOOL STUDENTS up to Class-X from 10th January 2026 to 20th January 2026, from 8.30 A.M. to 10.30 A.M. only on the basis of written request from school authorities.
- The school students should come in their school uniform and with school identity card and must be accompanied by adequate number of teachers and other employees of school.
- For permission for visit of Lok Bhavan garden by school students, the School Authorities concerned may send their written request to the ADC to Governor on E-mail ID- adc.odishagovernor@od.gov.in
- The request must contain the full name and contact details of the person under whose supervision, the students will visit Lok Bhavan garden, the date of the intended visit, number of students and teaching and non-teaching staffs of the school and such other details.
- It may be noted that no request shall be entertained for meeting Hon’ble Governor during such visit.
- The visiting students and their supervising persons will abide by the safety norms and regulations of Lok Bhavan security.
- No food and beverage is allowed inside the Lok Bhavan campus during such visit.
- The Lok Bhavan authorities shall not be responsible for any mishaps, accidents or any injuries to the school students or their supervising persons during their visit to the garden.
- Permission for garden visit accorded, to the General Public and school children, is liable to be recalled or cancelled any time due to any unforeseen events or exigency.

Anu Garg, IAS appointed new Chief Secretary
Senior IAS officer Anu Garg has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Odisha, succeeding Manoj Ahuja, who retires on December 31, 2025.
Garg, a 1991 batch IAS officer, is currently serving as Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the Planning and Convergence Department and Water Resources Department. She will be the first woman to hold this top bureaucratic position in the state.
