Ensuring double dose vaccination of the Government employees

“It has been decided employees of Departments/sub-ordinate Offices/ PSUs at Bhubaneswar must get double doses of the vaccine and attend office regularly from 1st July, 2021,” 

The employees who have not been vaccinated on medical (self infection or otherwise) & other reasons, may be permitted to attend Office as Per medical advice and administrative requirements, as considered by the Heads of Offices. It may be ensured that all employees of Departments/Subordinate offices/PSUs functioning at Bhubaneswar are fully vaccinated by 15th July.

Sub: Ensuring double dose vaccination of the Government employees for full fledged functioning of Government Offices.

Madam / Sir,

All the Departments were requested to ensure double dose vaccination of the Government employees of the Departments & sub-ordinate Offices / PSUs functioning at Bhubaneswar vide this Department Letter No. 15785 Dt.18.06.2021 (copy enclosed) so as to ensure full fledged functioning of the Offices in the month of July, 202L onwards, In case any employee was unable to get vaccinated for medical or some other compelling reason, s/he must

apply for an exemption to the Head of the Department / Organisation.

As is understood, a large number of Government employees have completed double dose vaccine and are safe to attend office daily observing mandatory COVID protocol. The Departments are now required to ascertain the vaccination status of the employees in the Departments & respective sub-ordinate Offices / PSUs and identify the employees who have not been fully vaccinated with the reason(s) thereof.
