Second Batch ASO Trainees appear Department Examination @ OSTI
The second batch ASO Trainees (2021 Batch) are appearing Department Examination at Odisha Secretariat Training Institute. The examination will be conducted from 6th-9th January, 2025.
This batch has been started since 30.09.2024 and the same is going to be concluded in this month.

Umakanta Mishra (OSS) Deputy Secretary, Works Department passed away today morning. He was suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease for last few years.
He was to retire from government service w.e.f. 31.05.2025

Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati appointed as Governor of Odisha
The President of India has accepted the resignation of Shri Raghubar Das as the Governor of Odisha. Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, the current Governor of Mizoram, is appointed as the new Governor of Odisha.

The President of India has accepted the resignation of Shri Raghubar Das as Governor of Odisha.
2. The President of India is also pleased to make the following appointments of Governors:-
(i) Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, Governor of Mizoram appointed as Governor of Odisha.
(ii) General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.) appointed as Governor of Mizoram.
(iii) Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Bihar appointed as Governor of Kerala.
(iv) Shri Arif Mohammed Khan, Governor of Kerala appointed as Governor of Bihar.
(v) Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla appointed as Governor of Manipur.
3. The above appointments will take effect from the dates they will assume charge of their respective offices.
