Dear Members,

The esteemed Chief Secretary, Odisha and Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department discussed at 5.30PM & 6.00PM  respectively in their office chambers.

They assured the delegates that the demands of the Association are under active consideration of the Government and these have already been discussed at length at the highest forum of the Government. Very soon the matter will be placed in the Inter Ministerial Committee.

The Government is very cordial and kin to take a very rational decision on our demands at the appropriate time. The Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department advised that the Association should keep patience and cooperate with Government to find a feasible solution on the demands of the OSS Cadre and do not resort to any Dharana programmes which will convey a very wrong message to the public.

In view of the present development, it is unanimously decided by the Executive Body to postpone the peaceful ‘Dharana’ scheduled to be held in the Palm Court of Lok Seva Bhawan on 3rd, November 2023 (Today) reposing strong faith and belief in the words of the Chief Secretary, Odisha and Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department.
