First of all congratulations to all 2016 Batch ASO friends for completion of 3 years in Secretariat as ASO. This day in 2016, we had received our appointment letter and joined as ASO in Secretariat. So this month we will avail one increment of Basic Pay from 37600 to 38700. But it is a matter of regret that HRA is not being revised. We will get the same HRA of Rs.2700/- also.
We can remind that, during 6th Pay salary, each year HRA was increased as per increment in Basic Pay. But as per Honble CM's declaration for implementation of 7th Pay commission, it was said that HRA will be revised in future. But all are waiting for that. 60% Arrear is also pending with Government. So State Government Employees are great losers.
All were in a hope for Honble CM to declare during this Puja Vacation. DA is also not declared by Central Government. Hence this Puja ended with no HRA, no DA, no arrears.
N.B. as per 7CPC, HRA is 16% of Basic Pay for cities like Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. So one ASO should get 38700×16%=6192. But we are availing 2700 only. Similar comparison can be made for others also.
