Addressing the orientation programme of 786 newly appointed doctors, CM Naveen_Odisha said healthcare is a primary focus area of the government and Odisha is investing more than ₹ 8500 Cr to further transform healthcare infrastructure.
CM said that Odisha Govt is continuously strengthening the healthcare system by recruiting large numbers of personnel in the last few years. CM added that the recruitment of young doctors will make a great difference in healthcare delivery at the field level.
CM said there is a lot of stress on healthcare system due to COVID19 but it was never overwhelmed due to spirited fight of medical fraternity. CM hoped that the young doctors will get inspired by senior doctors going beyond the call of duty & show empathy to citizens in need.
