After amendment in Recruitment Rules, the OES cadre in respect of Works Department has been restructured as follows.

HIGHLIGHTS :
Total post remains constant at 1037. (Works 642, RD 395)
Deputy Executive Engineer post is abolished and merged with Assistant Executive Engineer. They will be in charge if Sub-Divisions.
Superintending Engineer Level-I and Level-II posts are merged to form Superintending Engineer. They will be in charge of Divisions along with Executive Engineers.
New post namely Additional Chief Engineer has been created. They will be in charge of Circles.
N.B. Restructuring of OES Cadre in Water Resources Department has already been done vide Notification No.8066 Date.15.03.2021
