Great loss to OSS Cadre : Com Jyoti Ranjan Mishra passed away

We are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Shri Jyoti Ranjan Mishra, Section Officer (Home Department).  

Words fall short of expressing our sorrow for this loss. We can’t imagine the sadness his family must be feeling from this loss. OSS Cadre also lost one of its well wisher.

Recruitment for Junior Assistant in HOD very soon

As a step towards merger of Secretariat with Heads of Department (HoD), it was decided to stop recruitment towards the post of Junior Assistant in HoD to make their cadre dying on abolition of posts being vacant due to retirement or promotion. In this regard some major steps have already been taken.

Covid management at village level : Decisions in all party meeting

Addressing an all-party meet, CM @Naveen_Odisha said that Odisha’s healthcare system has responded well without getting overwhelmed like in other parts of the country. CM said that the state administration & medical personnel deserve appreciation for managing situation so well.

Government fixes maximum hiring charges for Ambulances.

The Odisha government today fixed the rates for Ambulance services of Private Hospitals and Private Ambulance Operators functioning in the State. Separate charges has been fixed for Patient Transport Ambulance (PTA), Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance and Advance Life Support (ALS) Ambulance.

However, besides urban areas reporting a large number of cases, a gradual ingress is now being seen in peri-urban, rural and tribal areas as well. In view of this there is a need to enable communities, strengthen primary level healthcare infrastructure at all levels to intensify COVID-19 response in peri-urban, rural & tribal areas, while continuing to provide other essential health services.

Ramesh Chandra Singh (53 Years) presently working as Under Secretary in School and Mass Education Department passed away. As per information, he was tested Covid positive and got admitted in hospital for last 15 days. He had taken both doses of vaccine also.

Sri Rama Prasad Samanta, 56 yrs presently working as Desk Officer in Higher Education Department passed away. As per information he was tested Covid positive few days before.

OJEE 2021 Application Form deadline has been extended, candidates can now apply for OJEE 2021 until June 15, 2021OJEE 2021 Exam dates will be released post June 15, on assessment of the situation, as notified by the official circular.

ଋଷ ଟିକା ସ୍ପୁଟନିକ-ଭି ଟିକାର ଦର ୯୪୮ ଟଙ୍କା । ଭାରତରେ ଏହି ଦରରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ହେବ ସ୍ପୁଟନିକ-ଭି ଟିକା । ଏହା ସହ ପ୍ରତି ଡୋଜ୍ ଉପରେ ୫ % ଜିଏସଟି ଦେବାକୁ ପଡିବ । ଡକ୍ଟର ରେଡ୍ଡି ଲାବରୋଟେରୀ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଦିଆଗଲା ସୂଚନା ।

Second dose Covishield not allowed before 12 weeks

The Government of India has now changed the minimum period between 1st and 2nd dose for COVISHIELD vaccine from 42 days (6weeks) to 84 days (12weeks). The changes will be effective from midnight of 14th May.

Those who have already booked online appointments for 2nd dose, are advised to reschedule their appointments.

There is no change in the interval of Covaxin doses which remains at 4-6 weeks.

More categories staff declared as Front Line Workers

State Govt has included more number of categories of staff as Frontline workers for Covid Vaccination. Forest officials & guards, Banking, Railway staff, DCPU Childline, Oxygen plant staff, filling station & call centre employees are declared as Frontline workers.
