Odisha School Re-opening for Std/Class I to V - from 3rd January
ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଥମରୁ ପଞ୍ଚମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ଯାଏଁ ଥିବା ପ୍ରାୟ ୨୭ ହଜାର ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟକୁ ଜାନୁୟାରୀ ୩ ତାରିଖରୁ ଖୋଲିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ୧୦ମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ନିମନ୍ତେ ୫ତାରିଖରୁ ୮ତାରିଖ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମେଟିଭ୍-୧ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ହେବାର ଅଛି, ସେହି ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ୧୦ଜାନୁୟାରୀ ଠାରୁ ଖୋଲାଯିବ। ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନ ଭୋଜନ ପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ୟାନ୍ତର ବିନା ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପୂର୍ବାହ୍ନ ୯ଘଟିକା ଠାରୁ ୧୨ ଘଟିକା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଖୋଲା ରହିବ। ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନ ଭୋଜନ ଯୋଜନା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଶୁଖିଲା ରାସନ ଯୋଗାଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନ୍ୟ ଆଦେଶ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୂର୍ବ ପରି ଜାରି ରହିବ।
Congratulations : Sunil Murmu, ASO selected for AEE (Civil) in PR&DW Department
Sunil Murmu, Assistant Section Officer (OPSC 2018) now working in Works Department has got his name in the final selection list of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) in PR&DW Department.
Last year, he had been selected for Odisha Municipality Administrative Officer (OMAS) also. His punctuality and dedication towards work as well as sincere effort for his career has brought such series of success in last three years.
We wish him more success in future. CONGRATULATIONS

OSS CADRE in 2021 : Untimely Death
The year 2021 may have brought happiness and prosperity to many people and organization. But Odisha Secretariat Service (OSS) Cadre has lost many of its Officers before their retirement. Before entering into another New Year 2022, we pray almighty not to bring such loss further to any family of this cadre. Besides we remind them and wish their soul rest in peace. During the year 2021, OSS Cadre has lost 13 (thirteen) Officers of different ranks i.e. from ASO to Additional Secretary.

8th Session of Odisha Assembly Adjourned
The 8th Session of 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly adjourned sine die till next date. This session was started on 1st December, 2021 and scheduled to continue till 31st December, 2021.

3rd Batch Induction Training for newly recruited ASOs

The 3rd Batch Induction Training for newly recruited ASOs ( OPSC 2018) has been started from 09.12.2021. It will continue for 12 weeks. As the renovation work of own building is under process, hence Odisha Secretariat Training Institute (OSTI) is now functioning in 5th floor of Toshali Bhawan temporarily. Earlier, the 3rd batch was scheduled to be held from 06.04.2020. But the same was postponed due to Covid-19 outbreak in March, 2020. This time, only 40 trainees are allowed to participate so as to maintain social distance in the classroom. On the first day, 23 ASOs have joined induction program.

ASO Vacancy in Secretariat : Clarification
Recently 17 posts has been en-cadered in OSS Cadre. With this the sanction strength of the cadre reaches 2996. Details
As far base level post is concerned, sanction strength of ASO increased from 1580 to 1589. Some of the youtubers post this information in a wrong way. As per them, vacancy has increased and in coming recruitment a revised vacancy will be there.
