Second GC Meeting of OSSA on 4th November
The 2nd General Council Meeting of Odisha Secretariat Service Association (OSSA) is going to be held today i.e. on 4th November, 2022 at OSSA House, Kharvel Nagar. All GC Members have been invited to this meeting for discussion on different agenda items.
It is noted that the present elected body of OSSA is trying to organize EB, GC & GB meetings in regular interval to discuss and decide various pending demands and put the same before Government for the welfare of it's members. The first GC Meeting was held on 23rd June, 2022.
Recently, as a part of cadre restructuring, 120 posts of Group-A have been upgraded with creation of 26 posts which is considered to be a great achievement for OSS cadre as well as the present OSSA Executives.

Odisha Assembly Winter Session to begin from Nov 24
The winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin from November 24 and continue till December 31. The session will have 33 working days and 5 ‘no meeting’ days.
The first supplementary statement of expenditure for the year 2022-23 will be presented in the House on November 24 and the Appropriation Bill on the first supplementary statement of expenditure will be tabled on December 2.

Inauguration of Secretariat Chess Championship 2022
ସଚିବାଳୟ ଚେସ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନ ତରଫରୁ ୧୦ଦିନ ଧରି ହେବାକୁ ଥିବା ଚେସ୍ ଟୁର୍ଣ୍ଣାମେଣ୍ଟ ଗତକାଲି ସଚିବାଳୟ ସେବା ସଂଘର କ୍ୟାମ୍ପସ-୨ ରେ ଉଦଘାଟିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଏଥିରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୫୦ ଜଣ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗୀ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସଚିବାଳୟ ସେବା ସଂଘର ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ଅଜୟ ସ୍ୱାଇଁ ଫିତା କାଟି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଚେସ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନ ର ସଂପାଦକ ଶ୍ରୀ ନୀଳମଣି ପାତ୍ର ଏହାକୁ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଟୁର୍ଣ୍ଣାମେଣ୍ଟ ନଭେମ୍ବର ୧୦ ତାରିଖ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଚାଲିବ।

ଗତକାଲି ରାଜ୍ଯ ମହିଳା ହକିରେ ଚମ୍ପିୟାନ ହୋଇଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସଚିବାଳୟ ହକି ଦଳକୁ ଲୋକସେବା ଭବନରେ ସମ୍ବର୍ଦ୍ଧନା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ରାଜ୍ୟ ସଚିବାଳୟ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଆଥଲେଟିକ ଆସୋସିଏସନ ତରଫରୁ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି ସମ୍ବର୍ଦ୍ଧନା ଉତ୍ସବରେ ଅର୍ଥ ବିଭାଗର ଯୁଗ୍ମ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ, ଆସୋସିଏସନର ହର ପ୍ରସାଦ ବିଶ୍ୱାଳ, ଦେବୀଦତ୍ତ ରଥ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଖେଳାଳୀଙ୍କୁ ପୁଷ୍ପ ଗୁଚ୍ଛ ତଥା ଉତ୍ତରୀୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବା ସହିତ ଏହି ଟିମ୍ ଗଠନ କରି ଟୁର୍ଣ୍ଣାମେଣ୍ଟ ଖେଳିବା ଏବଂ ଟ୍ରଫି ଜିତିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବିଶେଷ ସହଯୋଗ/ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରିଥିବା ରବି ରୋସନ ଲାକ୍ରା ତଥା ଆଲୋକ ଆଲବର୍ଟ ଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଅର୍ପଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଉକ୍ତ ସଭା ସରିବା ପରେ ଖେଳାଳୀ ମାନେ ଅର୍ଥ ବିଭାଗ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଶାଳ ଦେବଙ୍କୁ ସୌଜନ୍ୟ ମୂଳକ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିଥିଲେ।

Secretariat Women Hockey team became champion
Odisha Secretariat become the first ever Champion of the Odisha Senior Women Hockey Championships 2022 by beating host Khordha. The championship was organised by Odisha Hockey at KIIT Stadium. Shri DilipTirkey, President, TheHockeyIndia along with Sports Secretary Shri R. Vineel Krishna, Smt. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor, KIIT University and David John, Director, Hockey, Odisha were present during the award ceremony. Congratulations !!
