Induction training of 2nd Batch ASOs completed

The Induction Training Program of second batch ASOs (OPSC 2021) has been completed on 17.01.2025. In the valedictory function Shri Satyabrata Sahu, IAS, ACS, HOME Department had joined as Chief Guest and Dr. Nivedita Prusty, Spl. Secy, Home Deptt as Guest of Honour. Sri Manoj Kumar Sarangi, Principal along with other facilities like Tarun Kumar Biswal, Nihar Ranjan Rath etc were present in the function.

Pension of ₹20,000 to persons detained during emergency period

Odisha Government decides to extend pension and other benefits for individuals detained under MISA, DIR, or DISIR during Emergency period from 25.06.1975 to 21.03.1977. In this regard, ₹20,000/month pension shall be sanctioned in favour of all such living persons. Along with this, free medical treatment can be availed as per provisions of Health Department.

Benefits effective from 1st January 2025.
