# Industries Supervisor (IS) : Declared as dying cadre
# Assistant Industries Officer (AIO) : New base level post to be filled up partly by direct recruitment and partly from existing IPO / IS. Degree in any Engineering discipline shall be the minimum qualification for recruitment.
# Recruitment Rules : New recruitment rules will be framed to carry out this resolution.

Message on Chandrayaan-3 Soft-landing telecast
India's pursuit of space exploration reaches a remarkable milestone with the impending Chandrayaan-3 Mission, poised to achieve a soft landing on the lunar surface. This achievement marks a significant step forward for Indian Science, Engineering, Technology, and Industry, symbolising our nation's progress in space exploration.
This eagerly anticipated event will be broadcasted live on August 23, 2023, starting from 17:27 Hrs. IST. The live coverage will be available via multiple platforms, including the ISRO Website , YouTube, ISRO's Facebook page , and DD National TV channel.
The soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 is a monumental moment that not only fuels curiosity but also sparks a passion for exploration within the minds of our youth. It generates a profound sense of pride and unity as we collectively celebrate the prowess of Indian science and technology. Observance of "Sadbhavana Diwas" on 18th August
The Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi is observed as 'Sadbhavana Diwas' on 20th August every year. The theme of Sadbhavana is to promote National Integration and Communal Harmony among people of all religions, languages and regions. The idea behind observance of Sadbhavana Diwas is to eschew violence and to promote goodwill among the people.
This year, the 19th August and 20th August is falling on Saturday and Sunday which is closed holiday from Central Government Offices. Therefore, this year the Sadbhavana pledge taking ceremony may be observed on 18t August, 2023. (Friday)

2nd Inter-Departmental Carrom Tournament 2023 : Closing Ceremony
11th August, 2023 : Cultural Association of ST&SC Development Department successfully conducted 2nd Inter-Departmental Carrom Tournament 2023. In this Tournament, matches were played among employees of different departments of Government in Odisha Secretariat in four events from 25th July to 11th August, 2023.
The winners, runners up and third place players were given prizes for their success in the respective events.
