Recruitment of Secretariat ASO by November 2022

OPSC has published Recruitment Calendar for the year 2022-23. In the same, the date of scheduled publication of Result / Part results for Assistant Section Officer is mentioned as November, 2022. CLICK HERE to VISIT WEBSITE

For completion of whole recruitment process by November, 2022 we can believe that written examination may be held at least two month before i.e. in September/October.

But, there is a confusion among all ASO aspirants regarding date of examination based on a reply of the Chairman, OPSC in tweeter. "Exam is likely to be conducted in Nov. Dates, schedules etc. should be notified by Sept-Oct."
In this regard, many aspirants has put their speculations in the same platform. In reply to those tweets, The Chairman has requested all to wait for clarification whether November is the month of Exam Or publication of result.
So it is expected that OPSC will clarify very soon.

Here we can be sure about one thing that the tentative recruitment calendar being published by OPSC in last two years have the same columns with heading Scheduled Publication of Result. In the picture placed below shows that result of OCS 2019 was scheduled to August 2021 and the same result was published in October, 2021. This proves that the heading of the last column creates no ambiguity  and one can be sure that the last column shows month of publication of result but not month of examination. Hence, all aspirants are advised to continue their preparation dedicatedly. The most awaited date of Written Examination will come and go very soon. It may be May-June or September-October, all are tentative. But completion of recruitment can't be expected before November.

This is a great chance for all age group (21 to 38 years) to start their mission again. Many aspirants want the examination within coming two months. But the following two decisions has brought disappointment among them.
- Enhancement of upper age limit :  After declaration of enhancement of upper age limit from 32 years to 38 years, many aspirants don't feel comfortable to compete with the senior groups.(30-38 years).
- Date of examination in the last part of the year (Nov 2022) : After publication of tentative recruitment calendar by OPSC, the aspirants are not confident that they can continue their preparation till November.

In the aforesaid situation, everyone should prepare their mind to accept everything which are not under their control. Be cool and don't take diversion from your target. Just take a picture of Odisha Secretariat Building and paste it in your study room with subtitle, DREAM TO BE AN ASO. Make a fresh time table for coming two months. Many aspirants have appeared a number of test series in different institutions both online and offline. They must have discovered their zone of comfortable and weakness. As the date of examination is expected not before 4 months, hence one should not  keep any hole in his preparation which may keep him away from the gate of Secretariat Building.

Thank You
