Health & Family Welfare Department allocated to Niranjan Pujari
Day after health minister Naba Kisore Das was shot dead by an on-duty police officer, chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday allocated health and family welfare department to finance minister Niranjan Pujari. He also holds charge of the Parliamentary Affairs department.

ସ୍ବର୍ଗତ ନବ କିଶୋର ଦାସଙ୍କ ପାର୍ଥିବ ଶରୀରକୁ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ମର୍ଯ୍ୟାଦା ସହ ଅନ୍ତିମ ସତ୍କାର କରାଯିବ। ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ନିମ୍ନ ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଗଣ ଅନ୍ତିମ ସତ୍କାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହିବେ। ଅନ୍ତିମ ସତ୍କାର ସ୍ଥଳରେ ଜାତୀୟ ପତାକା ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧ ନମିତ ରହିବ।

Odisha Government to organise 'promotion adalat' in February first week
Allotment of Departments to Senior Officers to hold Promotion Adalat during 1st-3rd February, 2023 in six venues. Total Seven Senior Officers of the rank of Additional Chief Secretary and above will conduct this adalat.

Budget Session 2023 of Parliament starts on 31st January
The budget session of the parliament will commence from 31 January, 2023. The session will have 27 sittings spread over 66 days with usual recess. It will continue till 6 April with a recess from 14 February to 12 March.

Skill Test in Computer (Practical) for recruitment to the post of Assistant Director (Law), Advt. No.22 of 2021-22 has been rescheduled to 11.02.2023 (Saturday) instead of 05.02.2023 (Sunday).
Awards and accolades given out on Republic Day 2023
India celebrates its 74th Republic Day on 26 January this year to honour the day when the Constitution of India was enacted in 1950. A plethora of events will be organised on this day with the centre of attraction being the annual parade held at the Kartavya Path (formerly Rajpath) near the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
During the official ceremony, the President of India acknowledges and pays tribute to the courageous officers of the police department and armed forces for their exceptional bravery in the field. Additionally, several awards are given to citizens who have displayed courage in various circumstances.

The awards are announced on the occasion of Republic Day every year.

Annual Flower Show 2023
The two-day State Level Annual Flower Show 2023 will be held during 14-15 January, 2023 in the premise of Botanic Garden of Regional Plant Resources Centre (RPRC) here in the Capital City.
The Flower Show is organized by the Regional Plant Resource Centre and Plant Lovers' Association (PLA), Bhubaneswar on Second Saturday and Sunday of January every year since 2005.
