Indian men's hockey team defeated Germany 5-4 in the bronze medal play-offs at the Tokyo Olympics today. Indian men's hockey team won an Olympic medal after a gap of 41 years. India's last of the eight Olympic golds came way back in the 1980 Moscow Games.
With this win, the medals reached 4 for India. (One Silver & Three Bronzes)

Government offices to remain opened on Saturdays (except 2nd & 4th)
State Government has restored
the timing for functioning of all of its offices from August, 2021 onwards.
As per order of the GA&PG Department, all
departments of the State Government and Sub-ordinate Offices in the State will
function with full strength of employees with immediate effect
until further orders.
However, all the State Government Offices will remain closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays and continue to function on other Saturdays of the month.

Retirement of OSS officers on 31.07.2021
The following OSS Officers are going to retire from Government Service w.e.f. 31.07.2021 on attaining age of superannuation. Download
Estimate loss of Salary on account of DA Freeze Order.
After declaration of DA unfreeze w.e.f July, 2021, now Government employees are to get Salary with DA @28%. As it is clearly mentioned that no arrears will be paid from January, 2020 to June, 2021, hence we have made an attempt to calculate the loss suffered by employees during the said period.

Various Service Associations demand revised Dearness Allowance
After declaration of increased Dearness Allowance @28% for Central Government Employees, all of the State government employees are now eagerly waiting for their turn. In this connection, various service associations have submitted memorandum to Hon'ble Chief Minister with request to declare same amount of DA to the employees at an early date. It is to note that the existing DA rate is 17% which is being paid since July, 2019.

Dearness relief to the CG Pensioners / family at revised rates
After the O.M.Dt.23.07.2021 of Ministry of Finance (Deptt of Expenditure) regarding declaration of Dearness Allowance @28% w.e.f 01.07.2021 to the Central Government Employees, now Dearness Relief to the CG Pensioners/ family has been declared at the same rate i.e.28%.
