OSSA hold candle march for victims of Balasore Train Accident

A Handbook for OSS Officers released

"A Handbook for OSS Officers" has been released by Dr. Nibedita Prusty, Additional Secretary, Home Department on 31.05.2023 in presence of the Principal and faculties of Odisha Secretariat Training Institute (OSTI), Bhubaneswar.

This book, comprising of different circulars and rules can be treated as a reference book which will be useful for employees of Secretariat as well as other offices of State Government for quick search of any information required for day to day office work. Now, most of the senior officers of OSS Cadre are retiring from service on attaining age of superannuation. So in absence of such seniors with long term service experience, the newly joined young officers have to take help of this book.

The credit for collection of information from different sources and compilation of the same and publishing of this book goes to Sri Debi Prasad Sarangi, Principal, Odisha Secretariat Training Institute (OSTI), Bhubaneswar. As many of the rules and procedures placed in the reference book namely "Odisha Secretariat Instructions" are outdated, hence we hope the aforesaid handbook will be very useful for coming 15-20 years.

During this occasion, all faculty members of OSTI i.e. Prafulla Chandra Sankhua (Jt Secy) , Bichitra Kumar Mishra (OSD), Srikant Kumar Panda (Dy Secy), Khirod Kumar Naik (Dy Sect), Manoj Kumar Sarangi (Under Secy) and Tarun Kumar Biswal (Under Secy) were also present.
# Soft copy of the book will be available very soon.
