Sad News : Pratap Kumar Behera, Under Secretary passed away
It is sad to inform that Sri Pratap Kumar Behera, Under Secretary (OSS Cadre 1991-92) of Home Department is no more. He was battling against Chronic Cancer and breathed his last at AHRCC, Cuttack today at the age of 58.

New Medical College and Hospital at Talcher
State Government has approved setting up of a new Medical College namely Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital at Talcher.In preparation for functionalization of the new Medical College, the existing Nehru Shata di Hospital of MCL is being taken over by the Government. After careful consideration, Government have been pleased to name this hospital as the Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Government Hospital which will function as the future teaching hospital for the proposed Medical College.

This is to inform that, draft gradation list of all ranks in OSS cadre were published inviting objections within 15 days, if any, by Home Department. The objections received within the stipulated time period were examined and necessary corrections based on available records have been incorporated in the Final Gradation List wherever considered necessary.

24 Nov, 2023 : Odisha Secretariat Women Hockey Team defeated Central Secretariat and became Champion 🏆 of the All India Civil Services Hockey Tournament, 2023-24 played at Kaling Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
PRDW Football Cup : Finance and Forest Department enter Final
24.11.2023 : Today, in the Semi-final matches of PRDW Football Cup 2023, Finance Department defeated Cooperation Department by 2-0 goals and Forest Environment and Climate Change Department defeated Higher Education Department by 1-0 goal.
Now the Final Match will be played between FINANCE Department -Vs- FOREST ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE Department on 29th November.
Revision of admissibility limit of House Building Advance for State Government Employees
Provisions included ;
- House Building Advance sanctioned in respect of Government Employees can also be utilised for repayment of Bank Loan taken previously for the purpose of purchasing land and construction of buildings thereon.
- The amount of House Building Advance in favour of Government Employees shall be released in one installment in case of repayment of outstanding Home Loan taken from Bank.
