AICPIN for September, 2021 reaches 123.3
All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (2016=100) for September, 2021 increased to 123.3 points compared to 123.0 points for August, 2021.
Average AICPIN for last twelve months :
[ 119.5 + 119.9 + 118.8 + 118.2 + 119.0 + 119.6 + 120.1 + 120.6 + 121.7 + 122.8 + 123.0 + 123.3 ] x 2.88 / 12 = 347.16
Hence, expected DA for September, 2021
= (347.1- 261.4) /261.4 x 100 = 32.8
N.B. The Union Government has announced 31% DA (3% hike) wef July 1, 2021.

Cabinet approves release of additional 3% increase in Dearness Allowance
CABINET
Cabinet approves release of an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Pensions, due from 01.07.2021
An increase of 3% over the existing rate of 28% of the Basic Pay / Pension
This will benefit about 47.14 lakh Central Government employees and 68.62 lakh pensioners
Impact on the exchequer on account of both Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief would be Rs.9,488.70 crore per annum
Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief hike due from 1st July, 2021 can be approved in Cabinet Meeting today
As per media sources, cabinet meeting will be held at 11:30 AM today under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Prime Minister.
It is expected that, 3% Dearness Allowance(DA) and Dearness Relief(DR) may be increased in the said Cabinet Meeting.

ଆଶା କରୁଛି ସମସ୍ତ ଏଏସ୍ଓ ପରୀକ୍ଷାର୍ଥୀ ଭଲରେ ଥିବେ। ପୂଜା ଛୁଟି ବେଶ ଭଲରେ କଟିଥିବ। ଏବେ ପୁଣି ଫେରିବା ନିଜର ଲକ୍ଷ ସ୍ଥଳକୁ। ଏଏସ୍ଓ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି। ବିଶେଷ କରି ଏହି ବ୍ଲଗର ନିୟମିତ ପାଠକ ମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗ ଜାରି ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଚିବାଳୟ ତଥା ରାଜ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ଖବର ଯଥାସାଧ୍ଯ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛୁ।

ଗତ ୧୧.୧୦.୨୦୨୧ ଦିନ ରାଜ୍ଯ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ ଠିକା କର୍ମଚାରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଉଭୟ ପଦବୀ ନାମକରଣ (Designation) ଓ ମାସିକ ଦେୟ (Remuneration) ରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ଏଥିସହିତ, ପୂର୍ବରୁ କୌଣସି ଭତ୍ତା (Allowance) ମିଳୁନଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏବେ ଡାକ୍ତର - ଔଷଧ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ (RCM) ମିଳିବାର ପ୍ରାବଧାନ ରଖାଯାଇଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା କେବେଠାରୁ ଲାଗୁ ହେବ ସେ ନେଇ ସାଧାରଣ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ବିଭାଗ, Contractual Appointment Rules 2013 ରେ ସଂଶୋଧନ ଆଣିବା ପରେ ଜଣାପଡିବ।

Final result of OCS - 2019
Bringing an end to the long wait by candidates, the Odisha Public Service Commission has published Odisha Civil Service Examination- 2019 results on 8 October, 2021. OPSC has recommended 153 candidates as there were vacancies of 30 posts in OAS, 9 posts in OFS, OPS-7, OCS-5, ORS (Group-B) 82 and OT & AS-20.
As many as 47719 applications were received for OCS examination.
A total out of which 25780 took the Preliminary Examination held on March 15 last year.
1880 candidates qualified for written examination and out of them 1610 wrote the examination which was held in December 2020.
307 candidates were called for interview, which was held spreading over 9 days beginning from 22 September till 5 October.

Question analysis : High Court ASO 2021 Preliminary Examination
Recently, preliminary examination for High Court ASO 2021 has been conducted on 06.10.2021.

There was 150 questions in total 4 sections namely;
1) Section-I : General English - 40
2) Section-II : General Knowledge - 40
3) Section-III : Logical Reasoning - 35
4) Section-IV : Quantitative Aptitude - 35
The qualifying marks for this exam is kept 30% for SC/ST candidates whereas 40% for others. That means, 45 marks for SC/ST & 60 marks for others. But the expected average score is 70 - 95 because the negative marking was @0.5 for each wrong response.

Cabinet approves Productivity Linked Bonus to railway employees for the financial year 2020-21
The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today approved the Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 days' wages for the financial year 2020-21 for all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees (excluding RPF/RPSF personnel).

Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare has issued Notification dated 23.9.2021 in respect of Rules regarding Payment of Gratuity Rules under National Pension System. The Central Civil Services (Payment of Gratuity under National Pension System) Rules 2021 is provided below
Nominations for Ex-Gratia lump sum compensation to the families of Central Government servants who die in the performance of bonafide official duty
It has been decided that, on death of a Government servant in the performance of bonafide duty also, payment of ex-gratia lump sum compensation may be made to a member or members of the family in whose favour a nomination is made by the Government servant during service.

Labour Bureau has issued its Press Release on 30.09.2021 regarding Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) for the month of AUGUST, 2021. Click here for PRESS RELEASE
The All India CPI-IW for August, 2021 increased by 0.2 points and stood at 123.0 which was 122.8 in July, 2021. Based on CPI-IW of last twelve months, the Dearness Allowance is expected to reach at 31%.
